Things you'll see at Cal State

If you were walking around campus at CSUSB, you might be enjoying the scenery, talking on the phone, loving how beautiful the day was. Or at least that is what I was doing. I was on the phone with my dad and came across THIS!!!!!! I kinda was a little scared at first because I thought it was someone planning on playing a joke on me, and then I get closer and realize that they were not real people and that it was in front of the ART building :-) PHEW! Lol I do hope that the person or group that created this got an A+!!! Or at least a pat on the back!!

Oh and if you are wondering what it is... It is a guy on the ground in a crawling position and that rope is tied to his leg. The rope goes up and over the tree branch and is connected to the sack in which his buddy is hanging inside. Scary! Lol

I totally thought those were monkeys. Have you ever seen the sign that the homeless guy holds in Santa Monica that says: "My family was abducted by ninjas, need money for karate lessons?" Its hilarious.

NO!!! That is so funny!! People will do anything for a laugh. That guy probably makes bank just from him holding that sign. Have you noticed that they homeless guys holding the "Why lie? I need a beer" Signs get more attention than the rest? Just horrible lol

Lol I have seen that one! I have also seen one about the guy needed money to send Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie a baby gift.

So true Erica. Not even when you yell "YOU ROCK" at the top of your lungs in front of tens yea even twenties of people you don't know do you beg for attention. No. Not in a million years.

Yep, or people in Mimi's Cafe, who start eating their spaghetti/fettucini like crazy and start yelling when a friend tries to drag them away from the table. Fighting the whole way to get back to her seat. LOL. I will NEVER EVER forget that moment.

One of the reasons I HAD to write a new post was because if you would scroll down JUST a bit, there are 45+ comments on the last post!!! A few months ago, a young lady from my school introduced the song below during chapel to the student body. If anyone has a right to sing these words, she does. As this young lady recently lost her mother in a long struggle with cancer. Loss is something none of us take well. No matter what it may be. Some losses seem small to others, but to the person who has lost, it is larger than life. Whether it be the loss of a parent, a sibling, any family member, a friend, a pet, a pastor, a job, a house the list goes on. We try to rationalize the situation... But, sadly, our finite minds cannot comprehend the reason the Lord decided to allow this pain into our lives. Yet ANOTHER Eventful Weekend

Ok, so Friday was not so eventful. Other than everyone in the house was up around eightish...ish...ish. Lol. And then started cleaning.... and cleaned.. and packed and cleaned and packed. That was pretty much all we did all the way up until 10 something that night! (well... with a few breaks here and there). Then Saturday, we got up to the smell of my mom cooking and baking. I told Nicole it smelled like Thanksgiving in my house! We ended up having some close family friends over, the Jones family, the Sablan family, the Davis family and the Lee Jr family (lol Tiffany Randy and babies). The food was wonderful and the fellowship marvelous! Lol when Tiff got there I stole her newest addition, Ryan, he is SUCH a doll! And then took Baby Randy for awhile. It was so funny watching him crawl all over the place, and then go up to the dogs and get scared and try to get away as fast as he could! It was fun!
