Hahaha my creativity is not usually appreciated so I have to have an outlet for it somehow! Lol and yes it was quite busy... Hehehe up until my meeting was canceled and then I had nothing left to do lol! Hahah I will NOT let my students make paper airplanes for fear I will get one in my eye!!! And Bekki we all know what you do at work.... "GROOVY!!!"
She probably would love it, she loves me!!! Lol but seeing she is in Korea, and doesn't really care as long as I get my work done, which I did and was just waiting out my time, she doesn't really care... :P lol!!!
Wow! Must be nice. I bet your boss would love to hear about those rubber band wars too, huh Bekki? lol
Erica, I must say...you make me a proud cousin. Just to know that all the education, training, experience, etc. has gone into such creativity on the job. Wouldn't all the people who sacrificed to give you those grants be so ecstatic?
Since, you seem so bored at work...check out my new blog... www.prestonsramblings.blogspot.com
Aw, well you know Preston? I am proud that you are proud. In fact I think that anyone would be proud of me being proud of you being proud of me!!! It is such a cool feeling!!! lol. Oh and yes... I get to creatively stretch my mind at work, just like I learned in my "Teaching Art in the Elementary Classroom" in the fall quarter :-D
Ugh. I left a comment on here yesterday, but alas it did not show up. Anyways it was something to the effect of even my boss gets involved in the pranking and silliness here. We hung a cow from her ceiling a while back and she walked in during the process of hanging it. So she plotted revenge on my coworker (with me of course) which involves a snake and fishing string. lol.
One of the reasons I HAD to write a new post was because if you would scroll down JUST a bit, there are 45+ comments on the last post!!! LOL so I figured why not write a new post and allow a more easily accessible comment view... Cuz you know my fingers were just getting so tired of scrolling all the way down to the bottom to see the newest comment! ridiculous!!! Anyway, have you ever woke up and wondered what am I doing up???? Who am I, where am I??? WHY??? Lol, well if you haven't one day you may. Today I woke up wondering why I couldn't see, and where I was and wanting to go back to bed. Lol "alas" (that was for Bekki) I found out the reason why. I had forgotten to take my contacts out last night (stupid right? But it does happen to the best of us) and they had decided during the night that they did NOT like my eyes. So I tried to rewet them and put them back into my eyes. But nooooo.... My right eye took it just fine, my left eye threw a fit. So here I was with a ...
A few months ago, a young lady from my school introduced the song below during chapel to the student body. If anyone has a right to sing these words, she does. As this young lady recently lost her mother in a long struggle with cancer. Loss is something none of us take well. No matter what it may be. Some losses seem small to others, but to the person who has lost, it is larger than life. Whether it be the loss of a parent, a sibling, any family member, a friend, a pet, a pastor, a job, a house the list goes on. We try to rationalize the situation... But, sadly, our finite minds cannot comprehend the reason the Lord decided to allow this pain into our lives. Many blame God for so many different reasons, but God knows how much you can bear, and how far He will allow. Job was tortured, torn, accused, cursed at, heartbroken, and yet he still uttered those words that we can't even begin to think in hard times "The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the ...
Ok, so Friday was not so eventful. Other than everyone in the house was up around eightish...ish...ish. Lol. And then started cleaning.... and cleaned.. and packed and cleaned and packed. That was pretty much all we did all the way up until 10 something that night! (well... with a few breaks here and there). Then Saturday, we got up to the smell of my mom cooking and baking. I told Nicole it smelled like Thanksgiving in my house! We ended up having some close family friends over, the Jones family, the Sablan family, the Davis family and the Lee Jr family (lol Tiffany Randy and babies). The food was wonderful and the fellowship marvelous! Lol when Tiff got there I stole her newest addition, Ryan, he is SUCH a doll! And then took Baby Randy for awhile. It was so funny watching him crawl all over the place, and then go up to the dogs and get scared and try to get away as fast as he could! It was fun! Well they were all gone by about 5:30, and Bekki had told me that we wanted to meet at...
