Day Apart

Well, last night we were surprised with a little tidbit of information, that the Day Apart that had originally been planned for earlier this semester, but was cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, was back on! FOR TODAY! So, I was up around 8:30 this morning listening to (what else) WICKED, and then headed down for breakfast a little after 9! Today was so relaxing! And it was an amazing day to be out! Not a cloud in the sky and bright and warm (I have a sunburn to prove it!). No one knew what the plans were until we met in the chapel around 10, and then headed outside. So no one really knew what to prepare for, but we had so many choices! Volleyball, Croquet, Softball, and Football. I played volleyball for awhile... a LONG while since for some reason we went into "overtime" 4 times... I finally just helped lose the game cuz I was tired of the same game! Ha! OOPS! Don't tell anyone I said that! They thought that I was distracted and missed the ball on accident! So, I ate lunch with my lunch buddy and friends, and then headed back out to watch more volleyball and then football! All in all it was a fun Day Apart. Ruined only by the need to go to work, but hey, I turned in my two week notice today! YAY lol that makes it a little easier to handle when it gets boring at work!

EEEPPPP. LOL Not cool. That picture of me in Wal Mart looking over your shoulder is horrrriiiiddddd. LOL. I am going to steal the ones of you and I at TGIF and the 'stealthy' picture of us in Wal Mart. lol.

No comment on the other one...we now have blackmail pictures of one another.

One of the reasons I HAD to write a new post was because if you would scroll down JUST a bit, there are 45+ comments on the last post!!! Hallelujah From the Valley

A few months ago, a young lady from my school introduced the song below during chapel to the student body. If anyone has a right to sing these words, she does. As this young lady recently lost her mother in a long struggle with cancer. Loss is something none of us take well. No matter what it may be. Some losses seem small to others, but to the person who has lost, it is larger than life. Whether it be the loss of a parent, a sibling, any family member, a friend, a pet, a pastor, a job, a house the list goes on. We try to rationalize the situation... But, sadly, our finite minds cannot comprehend the reason the Lord decided to allow this pain into our lives. Many blame God for so many different reasons, but God knows how much you can bear, and how far He will allow. Yet ANOTHER Eventful Weekend

Ok, so Friday was not so eventful. Other than everyone in the house was up around eightish...ish...ish. Lol. And then started cleaning.... and cleaned.. and packed and cleaned and packed. That was pretty much all we did all the way up until 10 something that night! (well... with a few breaks here and there). Then Saturday, we got up to the smell of my mom cooking and baking. I told Nicole it smelled like Thanksgiving in my house! We ended up having some close family friends over, the Jones family, the Sablan family, the Davis family and the Lee Jr family (lol Tiffany Randy and babies). The food was wonderful and the fellowship marvelous! Lol when Tiff got there I stole her newest addition, Ryan, he is SUCH a doll! And then took Baby Randy for awhile. It was so funny watching him crawl all over the place, and then go up to the dogs and get scared and try to get away as fast as he could! It was fun!
